A crazy thing happens to us Brits living in the US - every so often someone looks you dead in the eyes and asks "have you ever met the Queen"! The urge to say "no, have you met the President?" is always just bubbling under the surface, but given the last person to ask me was a TSA agent who has the power to order a cavity search, I decided to politely say "no"!!

Instead I decided to answer the question with this blog - HaveYouMetTheQueen.com - a collection of all things British - things that make us quirky and things that make us great. Formed as a list of questions, HYMTQ will entertain and inform.

We spell things with a 'u' and 's'.
